Step aside, stork. Famous parents-to-be have helped push the trend of premiering what exactly they’re expecting well ahead of the birth date. The cutest gender reveal cake I ever could’ve imagined. Thank you @thewowfactorcakes for making our announcement so special! I’ll let you all know once I tell all our family first 🙂 Any guesses? A photo posted by Emily Maynard Johnson (@emilygmaynard) on
Emily Maynard cut into a special cake to make the announcement to her family in March 2015. Event planner Mindy Weiss ran with the “Blue or Pink, What Do You Think?” theme of Giuliana Rancic and Bill Rancic‘s gender reveal party in October 2012. Of course there was colored cake that contained the answer to the riddle, but the cutest touch had to be the big box filled with blue balloons that floated up as high as the parents-to-be’s spirits when they learned they’d been blessed with a boy alongside their excited guests.
