While checked in at Ballyseede Castle Hotel in August 2017, Molly Shannon sent several messages to the staff — she said, “Thank you Joe McCarthy for being so thoughtful: giving us the best breakfast and directions. I appreciate your kindness. So nice to be back in the home country . . . Thanks Tim in the pub! My kids love your dog, Einstein.”
