  • National Portrait Gallery patron Kate Middleton unveiled “her Patron’s Trail of the exhibition ‘Victorian Giants: The Birth of Art Photography” in February 2018.
  • Kate Middleton came “face to face with the two photographic portraits of herself . . . taken as part of a wider spread” in British Vogue when she visited the gallery’s Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibit in May 2016.
  • On New Year’s Eve day in 2014, a selfie-snapping Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita said they were “Submitting this photo to the Gallery. Fingers crossed!”
  • Kate Middleton has been a patron of the National Portrait Gallery charity since Jan. 2012 and the London location is where the first official portrait of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is kept.
