  • Jonathan Cheban picked up bagels to go from here in June 2017 and shared, “Here it is, the most decadent bagel ever, embedded with black caviar, I wish they put little more . . . we are really pigging out today.”
  • “Best.” is how Busy Philipps described her May 2017 classic board ($16) here, complete with a poppy seed bagel.
  • Zach Braff ate at Russ & Daughters in both February 2017 and March 2017 and ordered the classic board ($16) both times.  During one meal, he also had an orange juice drink that might’ve been a mimosa.
  • Lea Michele enjoyed a caviar flight ($90-$130) when she came here in December 2016.
  • Emily Ratajkowski prefaced her October 2016 post about Russ & Daughters with “This is not an ad.” She said, “Always have to make a stop here” and gave a shoutout to its “Smoked fish.”
  • Jamie Chung was headed to NYC in April 2016 and said she was “so excited to see my hubs, pips, and eat some delicious nosh” at Russ & Daughters.
  • Gwyneth Paltrow spotted “Clouds in my coffee” when she picked up a cup at Russ & Daughters in March 2016.
  • Kiernan Shipka enjoyed a “Good lunch and fabulous company” at Russ & Daughters in February 2016. She ordered the lower sunny side dish ($16), which consists of potato latkes, eggs, and lox.
  • On her “last day in New York” in February 2016, Busy Philipps “ate at my favorite” Russ & Daughters — she had a sesame bagel, cream cheese, and lox as part of her classic board ($16).
  • Karlie Kloss called the classic board ($16) from Russ & Daughters “breakfast goals” in January 2016.
  • Olivia Wilde shared some “Borscht porn” ($8) in October 2015 and thanked Russ & Daughters “for always letting me sit at the bar and steal your newspapers.”
  • With a spread that included bagels, lox, and what appeared to be the Russ caviar flight ($130) from this Jewish cafe and deli, Jason Biggs joked, “WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK I’M JEWISH??” in July 2015.
  • Zach Braff pledged in May 2015, “I promise I won’t become the guy who posts food all the time. But if you like latkes, this is your NYC spot #latkeporn” — potato latkes run $9 here.
  • Ivanka Trump shared some of her “favorite spots for fun things to do and kid-friendly places to eat” in February 2015 and Russ & Daughters was one of them. It looked like she ordered one of the popular platters ($70-$90, serves three to four people).
  • Mindy Kaling admitted she “Came for the noshes” in September 2014 but “appreciated the chevron degrade flooring” here.
  • Busy Philipps said, “I so rarely post food pics but COME ON.” She ate “the perfect breakfast” of the classic board ($16 for a bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, and toppings) in October 2014.
