Martha Stewart checked out Manatee Lagoon in January 2018 and described it as “a perfect place to visit during cold weather.” She explained, “More than 150 giant manatees are visiting the 74 degree water here in the intracoastal near the Florida Power and Light company whose output happens to warm the water and attracts these sea creatures.”
