Alicia Keys traveled to Luxor, Egypt’s historic Valley of the Kings with Swizz Beatz in September 2018, posed with a statue, and shared, “The Queen that ruled as a King! Hatshepsut!! I feel sooo connected to her. She was a powerhouse. NO ONE attacked while she reigned!!”
Temple of Philae
Alicia Keys was “Taking it in” at Egypt’s Temple of Philae in September 2018 and said, “To all my goddesses in the world spreading love and light, power and radiance. Never stop being brilliant!!” — Swizz Beatz was also along for the visit.
Alicia Keys was in awe of Luxor, Egypt’s historic Karnak site when she was here with Swizz Beatz in September 2018 and mused, “Doesn’t my face say it all?? This is Ipet Isut now called Karnak. One of the grandest Neter Het’s (Devine houses) in all the world!!!! It is said the concept of the golden ratio or PI is represented here and as you can see I’m literally STUNNED at the massiveness of everything . . . It took 17 of us with outstretched hands joined together to complete the circumference of ONE of these pillars!!! And there are a garden of them. Hundreds and hundreds!! Can you imagine??”
Pyramid of Djoser
Alicia Keys traveled to Saqarah, Egypt’s Pyramid of Djoser in August 2018 and explained, “This is the first pyramid EVER made of Stone by the multi genius #Imhotep.”
Swizz Beatz said he and Alicia Keys “finally got to see this masterpiece in person” at New York City, NY, USA’s Casey Kaplan in July 2018 and added, “can’t wait until she comes home.”
